Still a steel knife

I apparently didn't read the description good enough. The knives are a stainless steel blade with a ceramic coating. This means a metal knife is still in contact with food, which causes food oxidation. Unfortunately I had to return the new knives without using them. She wanted actual ceramic knives, not a ceramic coated knife.

I've had these for over a year and they're fantastic. I'm not an expert cook by any means but these replaced some old, cheap knives and these make meal prep so much easier.

I am extremely happy with this knife set.Honestly, I do not take good care of knives. I don't sharpen them.So these ceramics that don't need sharpening long term are ideal for me. And they are *very* sharp.I'm glad they all come with a nice blade protector sheathe; I really would not want them in a drawer without one on. Very easy to *carefully* clean up also. Nothing seems to stick to them so far.

We use these every day and they are really great! To me, it's the best knife set I have gotten and it's really durable! It's light and I love that I can use the blade guards to keep it safe and keep my kids safe!
