I love the blades of the knives, they seem good quality. The handles seem cheap and not sturdy. Hopefully they hold up!

I love a good sharp knife. So I washed them and started chopping veggies for soup. Awesome at chopping onions. I was leery about the plastic handles but they are holding up. And love they come with covers.

You won’t find these knives in a professional kitchen, and you might find these too thin to use every day in your home kitchen. The blade spine is a bit thin, and the metal is not Damascus, it has a Damascus pattern.Pros: excellent value for the money spent, and a nice variety of knives in the set. Sharp, but would need regular sharpening.Cons: plastic handles, thin spine.Me - I put these into a travel camper and they’re just fine.

I bought this set for my son to bring to college. The knives are sharp. The handles are comfortable. The only thing I can complain about is that their extreme light weight made them unbalanced; but then, I compare them with my own Henckles Twin knives set which is much more expensive. To recap: Best fit for light cooking or college life.

Great for beginners

Not sure how "giftable" they are, unless to an untrained culinary professional or beginner/amateur kitchen lover. They are so super inexpensive and I think you can feel that in the weightlessness of each knife. Super convenient just for around the kitchen quick cutlery to grab and use, but I wouldn't take them out somewhere to brag on them. The blade wasn't too dull; pretty much ready to be used upon delivery.

Great buy! Bought these on “lighting sale” and they have really surprised us! Sturdy, sharp, esthetically pleasing, and they each have individual protective covers! Win, win, win all day!!

Great knives, but water marks occur too easily.

If you don't dry the knives immediately, water marks remain on the knives and they require a lot of pressure to wipe them off.
