Bought these for my nephew for his house warming gift. The knives are pretty. Haven't given the gift yet; so, I am not sure how sharp they are. Based on the reviews, they should cut/slice/chop well. I am happy with the purchase.

Stain and Fade

I was thrilled in the beginning. New, sharp, pretty knives! I've had for almost 2 months, I guess. I never, ever put in dishwasher. I hand wash. 2 of the knives are fading and stained and just look cheap and battered now. I'm just a regular housewife cooking - not some high traffic restaurant or something. If it can't hold up 2 months, they definitely won't last as long as my 10 year old set I regret throwing out for this one.

The knives look good and are very sharp. I am disappointed though especially because the colour of the bladed changed. Also they are not sturdy.
