They are very sharp and Beautiful. You need to wash them as soon as you use them and put them away. I Love mine. I bought this set for my Daughter.

My sister had these in her house and I liked them so much I searched for a set myself. Her boyfriend paid a pretty penny for hers but I got mine on a lightening deal! So glad I did! I like them a lot but I wouldn't have bought them for the price he paid, sorry! The handles aren't wood they're like a plastic material so that was a bummer. Not super sharp either I'd recommend getting a sharpener if you don't have one. But for the price I paid for them I'm happy!
